Welcome toFirst State Bank of Bloomington. We are an independent bank, locally owned and operated. Our holding company is located in Monticello, Illinois.First State Bank of Bloomington has been continually serving McLean County in one form or another for over 100 years. In 1984, we formed our holding company –First State Bancorp of Monticello, Inc. We have two locations in McLean County, Illinois and through our sister bank -First State Bank of Monticello we have locations in other communities such as Champaign, Monticello, Tuscola, Atwood, and Hammond, Illinois. Our strategic plan is to remain locally-owned and independent. We believe that our structure enables us to provide the best possible service to our customers. Our philosophy is summarized in our Mission Statement, as follows:
